Just Upset and Whinning

This hole year has seemed to be nothing but problems for us. With all the medical problems JJ has been having it has been hard enough. Then we find out my sister might have ovarian cancer and has to have surgery and will find out more after the surgery and she could really use my help and I can't help it her but to be hear to listen and I don't feel that is enough, I am here to worry and be scared with and for her and praying that she is okay. I finally got a bit a good news and found out I am starting work, it's only a couple nights a week but better then nothing. And then Al, my husband boss and our landlord tells Rob a couple days ago that we have 4-5 months to move and I have a feeling he is also going to fire him at that point, just from the way he is acting and the stuff he is doing. And I am very worried about it and just don't know what we are going to do. Housing around here is not cheap and moving else where isn't inexpensive either. And after paying our monthly bills there's only enough left to buy food and gas. I just don't know what to do at this point. I really have no one to talk to about this as Rob is just as worried as I am. So I am on here just trying to get it out. Well I will stop my whinning now.

8th day

Today is the 8th day we have been trying to figure out what is wrong with JJ, he is so sick. He has been slowly getting worse over the past month just little things at a time so it was hard to notice until you put it all together, but this last week it has became very noticable. He has been running a persistant fever the last couple of days, he refuses to eat at all is drinking very little. He has lost 15lbs since the end of Jan. He had to go back into a booster seat do to all the weight loss. The Drs aren't really doing or checking much. His ped took a bunch of blood and is running alot of tests, but the nerosurgions just keep sending us home and they should be checking him for a shunt infection. And I pray that isn't what it is!! Here is his 2006/2007 school pic, it was taken right about the time things started going back down hill since his surgery on Jan 31, 2007.

Steven's first hair cut

I am very sad, I know kids grow up, but he is my baby and had to get his first hair cut, which was way over due!!! Yes he sooo cute with his new look, but now he looks like a little boy instead of my baby. Yes I am pouting :) But the lady who cut his hair was nice and saved me all his curls, they were only in the back, so I could put them in his book.

Well we had 4 days of 60 and 70 degree weather with sun shining, finally got to hiking and play outside with the boys, got up this morning and the rain is here again! So stuck in the house again! :( JJ got a cast on his leg again last saturday, he will have it for about a month so no going to the beach this month, unless I go while he is at school. Steven was climbing on chairs the other day and fell and split open his lip and whacked his nose, it's starting to turn yellow now. He looked silly for a few days. Shawn is just getting into everything he can, very bored and tired of being in the house all the time.

SHAWNS SHINER

Well here are pics of Shawns first shiner, believe it or not he ran into a chair in the diningroom, well if you know my kids you would believe it!! JJ had his 3rd shunt revision last week, this time they put in a programmable shunt so hopefully it works better and they said his seizures increasing the way they have in the past few months wasn't from his shunt failing, but I feel they ARE WRONG!! As he has not had any seizures since surgery and I even stopped one of his meds 2 days after surgery. So I have a hard time believing them on that. Any ways he is doing good, we go back to portland on Monday 2-12-07 to get an MRI and see the nerosurgion so I will find out then if all is working okay, but he sure does seem alot better. I missed Daniel's 18th birthday as we got out of the hospital that afternoon, the first thing JJ said to Daniel when he saw him was sorry we were late for your party. He was worried about not being home for it. Steven is getting so big and into everything he can figure a way to get those little digits on. His older brothers have taught him very well!!! Well thats about it for now.

Just Frustrated

I'm Just very frustrated today. Had to leave Tuesday afternoon to take JJ up to Portland for an appt. Got up there at 10pm after dealing with ice and all, found out the roads in Portland were really bad, so I got up 2 1/2 hours before I needed to, to get ready to go left ealry so I wouldn't have to rush to get an hour away and have them call and cancel the appt. I would have had to chain up to go up the hill to the hospital which would not be fun, but I was already up there, now I have to drive back up there again next Tuesday night to go this appt. So it just frustrating to me!! Here is a new pic of Steven my little ham and the next one is our big snow storm they closed the schools here for.

3 Days Left

Well it's been awhile since I have been on here, but been busy with getting stuff ready for christmas and dr. appts I got a beautiful tree skirt crocheted for me tree and in the last week I crocheted Shawn and Steven each a sweater and finished the thing I was making for my mother-in-law. And since school is out these boys have been distroying my house so been having to do alot of cleaning, I had the flu a couple days ago so went on a cleaning strike and very much regretted it this morning when I started cleaning, should have just did it wouldn't have taken me as long, they try and help but usually it just makes it harder on me with their help then to just do it myself.Well have more crocheting to get done So I hope everyone really enjoys their christmas and has a safe New Year.

Happy Birthday To My Hubby

Well with Halloween over it's time for my hunny's birthday, I will be nice and not say his age!! But I am not sure what to do for him or to get him. He is not easy to get gifts for, he is not picky at all, but I will figure something out, especially since I am out of time!! The boys had a great time trick or treating lastnight and JJ had 2 halloween parties at school, but makes me think how close Thanksgiving ang Christmas are and I have nothing done for them. I also got a present today!! I was in a contest on one of my groups, Bev's Charity Challenge and for the month of october we were making all sizes of hats to donate and I won more yarn!! It's Friday

Well it's Friday, that means the boys will be home for 3 days, hopfully they don't drive me crazy! It's been a pretty good week so far, no trips out of town. Thank god! Got a new stove today, so I have been busy baking and playing with it. The chocolate chip cookies are yummy, had to hide some so the boys didn't eat them all. Well gotta go to the store. Have a good weekend

Steven Learning to climb on everything!!
Well it's monday and the holidays are right around the corner, I am trying to get christmas presents done as well as do my charity crochetting, I have been trying to add links to my blog, but it just don't seem to want to let me, guess I am doing something wrong! Finally have a week that I don't have to go out of town to any appts for the boys, YEAH!!!!!! But next week we'll be on the go again. So have to enjoy it while it's here. Hope everyone has a good week.

Just Another Day

Well another long day of driving, haven't had much time for crafts or cleaning or anything lately, been going to so very many dr. appts and not seeing much of an end in the near future. Wish I could see and spend more time with my Rob but we don't get any time to ourselves at all, the only time I get to even talk to him alone, it seems, is while driving to appts and I call him on the phone, Yes I am whining today, but sometimes life is hard to deal with so you just have to whine and get over it so that is what I am doing. I wish my husband could go with me to some of these appts but his boss does not allow it, and we can't afford for him to loose his job, so I do it by myself and most of the time that is fine, but as much as I have been going this last month or so it really sucks. Okay I am done whining now, have to go clean house and change the baby. Hope everyone elses day is going better then mine.

IT'S FRIDAY

It's Friday, second week of school done. It's so hard for me to believe that my little boy is a senior this year and will be done with high school soon. He was my only one for along time beings theres 11 years in between him and next one. So to me he is still my little boy, him and I have always been very close, don't know if that is because I had him very young or if it was that he was an only child for so long, but at any rate I am just amazed how time just flies, there are a few recent years I just don't even remember much, I guess due to having to go to the drs so much and in and out of the hospital with my 3rd and then getting pregnant again and working so much, it's all like a blur at times. Well hope everyone has a good Friday

Well I haven't got to post much lately, I have been very busy crochetting for charity and my 6 year old (JJ) shunt went out a couple of weeks ago so had to rush him up to Portland to Doernbechers Hospital so he could have surgery to get it replaced, they only had to replace the valve on it this time, but he ended up with about 20 stitches in his head and 4 days after we came home he had an eye appt. and found he has metal in his eye and his eye has grown over the top of it, so I have to take him up to CoosBay tomorrow and have the eye surgeon he usually sees look at it and set up the surgery for that, that'll make his 8th surgery. SO I have just been taking care of him and trying spend time with my other boys and have been cleaning and crochetting as they let me, except Saturday JJ and I spent the day painting our bathroom, let me tell you, you haven't lived until you try painting clenly with a very hyper and busy 6 year old!! It was quite exciting!! Well I hope all are having a safe and fun holiday weekend, Rob had to work today so we didn't get to go to the ranch like we were suppose to, but maybe we'll get to some other time. Love, Vicki

Well lets hope today goes better then yesterday. My boys were just crazy yesterday. They were into everything all day long, so I got alot of exercise just chasing them and keeping them out of stuff. So heres to hoping that is a better day. Last night I start making my first crochet pattern. Not done with it yet, but hope it turns out good. It is a cover for the highchair as the one is falling apart. Been used to much.
